Himmelflugt / Sky Flight is a socially realistic collection of short stories about the socially disadvantaged residents of a residential block written by Danish authors Christina Nordstrøm & Kirsten Nordstrøm Hansen.

A residential block is called the Owl House. No one knows why. Nor does anyone know why the residents of the Owl Houseare called the losers. Is it just due to loose rumors, or is it really the house that is affecting those who have been given an apartment here?

The fact is that a boy jumped out of the roof of the house. Suicide? Or did the boy really think he could fly?

And why did Malou assault a classmate? Why did she just want to destroy her friend?

Monday is the hardest day of the week for Victor. It's the day he has to listen to what everyone else in the class has experienced over the weekend. He himself does not experience anything, because just like in Ea's family, Victor's family can not afford anything.

Then there is Looney-Lars. Looney-Lars is physically like an adult, but that is all. It's far too easy to suspect Looney-Lars of all that goes wrong, but is he also after little girls?

Max is going on a home visit to his father. Max hopes it will be a great weekend, but he fears it will be like all the others.

Children, young people and also adults live on the edge in the Owl House.
